Tool arrived in AK in a couple days in great shape!
The tool was brand new.
I only needed it for a minor repair to crimp a baseboard heater that the plumbers forgot to finish crimping when the house was built. The same plumbers are in business but did not keep any tools after that kind of pex-al-pex was discontinued. They gave me a break on shipping, so I caught a break.

Great tool for pex-al-pex repair
This press tool made a nice permanent connection on my 1/2" pex-al-pex tubing in my radiant heat system inside a wall. Contractor shot a nail though the tubing. The most difficult aspect was getting the repair fitting into the end of the tubing. VERY difficult, but once it was seated, the press tool worked great. A bit on the pricey side though.

Excellent Quality - Don't Overlook Mr. Pex Products
Extremely well built for Pex-Al-Pex fitting installations. I had always used Uponor products, however after using Mr. Pex products I am going to give their product line a second look.
