Works really well
Works really well at protecting sensitive valves and old solder joints you don't want to redo. Lay it on thick. Only thing is sometimes it's hard to clean off. I've had some luck cooking off the surface when done so it mostly sticks together, making it easier to take remove.

Keeps heat away
It works so well if you put it too close to where you are heating it will either not melt the stick into the pipe or take longer to heat. It kept the heat away from other sensitive components and even the paint was unchanged. Service was prompt and they are very knowledgeable in their inventory.

Worth having on hand
I have used this for years. It's great for putting on king valves and txv to keep from heating them to much. Just don't get it on where you are brazing or the braze won't stick.
