Clean the fan yearly to keep from replacing these

There is a lot of reviews on this product saying that it does not last long. The reason it doesn't last is because of airflow. These heaters need a certain CFM of air moving past them so that they don't overheat. Pull the fan AT LEAST YEARLY, and blow out the blower wheel. Compressed air or nitrogen cleaning each vane individually. If you used the heater during construction clean it before you turn the house over. Clean blower wheel = longer lasting heater. Its still a cheap little heater but it needs proper airflow to work, thats why the first one last a couple of years and the replacements only last months.

Broan should be ashamed

First let me be clear: SupplyHouse.com is outstanding in every way. I have dealt with them for years. They have the best prices, very responsive service, & super fast shipping. These heater elements do not last. I had the top of the line Broan-Nutone heater/fan/light put in a new house in 2007. I have gone through at least 4 of these heater elements, the most recent one lasting only six uses [SupplyHouse replaced that one free]. The others lasted 1 to 4 years before burning out.

Supply house located a heater replacement part.

Had to replace a non-working NuTone heater element for our master bathroom after about 18 years of service. Since the vent fan was working properly, replacing just the non-working hear fan was a good option. Unfortunately, being an older NuTone product, I turned to Supply House to locate the replacement, which they did quickly. Of course, the heater was backordered and I had to wait a couple of weeks to get the replacement, and Supply House kept me informed as to when I would receive the part. It took about a month, but the heater replacement (about $40) saved me from replacing the entire vent/heater unit (about $400), so I was happy with the results

It fits and works

This product fit my Nutone heat/fan/light in my bathroom. Installation was easy. The original heater failed after only very limited use. I am avoiding 5 star because I don't know that this one will last any longer.

Great price & fast delivery

Bought two heating units for Nu Tone heating unit. They seem to burn out in 1-1/2 years of intermittent use. Supply House is great, but the product is faulty. It has an Achillies' heal, the resistor. I wish Nu Tone would fix the problem. Many before me have complained of this problem. The unit was free of dust so one can't blame it on that.
