A Quiet Exhaust Fan
My bathroom exhaust fan was getting noisy due to wear and tear. I decided to replace it with a quieter one. I found it fairly easy to install as it was the first one I personally have done. One must be careful regarding the night light wiring. Very happy with it and the led light is nice and bright.

Not sure why I have to even leave a 1 star. Do not buy this
Don't bother with this fan and the light. The light is nice and bright. The night light is a nice feature but this fan is such a pain to put up on an old work application. The adapter that they sell with this is not plastic but a regular metal reducer squeezed on the 4 inch side. You need to put a screw in it or it will work it's way off, Even with tape. Then if you squeeze too much it affects the damper. It makes it very long with the adapter so make sure you have the room. It doesn't come with the ez bracket like the fv0511bf1 which is a pleasure to install and love that fan. I love Panasonic fans but this one is bad. Without the EZ bracket you need to frame it out from the attic to get screws on both sides. For some reason it's blowing air back and is noisy. It is blowing the outside damper open so it is moving air but something isn't right. I used the same 3 inch existing duct in the other bathroom with the fv0511 and it works perfectly. I should have done that fan and threw in a 4 inch new led high hat next to it for the light. I'll stay away from this one in the future. I've installed 5 of the others without issue.

I would buy it again - this is my 4th!
Easy to install in bath and best of all it is much more quiet than many others I've had. I won't buy any other brand now. This is the 6th Panasonic fan I've used starting 8 years ago and I haven't had any fail.
