The RB-6 Pneumatic Clip Gun installs RB Clips quickly and perfectly. For above floor or under floor applications in radiant floor heating, or in potable water pipe installations, the clip gun shoots safe, strong polyethylene clips that fit perfectly without compressing or damaging the tubing or pipe.
The "hammer head" of the pneumatic tool repeatedly strikes the two nails of the RB Clip until they are driven 5/8" into the wood. The RB-6 Pneumatic Clip Gun is designed to install clips perfectly, with no chance of overdriving the nails or piercing the tubing. The installation will be fast, strong, and long-lasting, providing holding power that absolutely cannot pierce or damage the tubing or pipe.

Unlike other pneumatic tools, the RB-6 is lightweight and easy to use. This makes it especially comfortable to use overhead, such as in "staple up" radiant heating installations. Also, a quick connect fitting is included with the gun and an air plug is preattached, making set-up easier.

works great for under-floor application
If used above floor remember the staples will hang up extension cords air lines etc and do dislodge fairly easily. much better for underfloor applications

Excellent if many clips
Used this to install several hundred clips. Easy to operate and easier than manual gun. Installs clips in proper depth each time. Would use again if we had additional clips to install.

Good Gun for the Price!
Ordered this pneumatic clip gun after our old reliable (all steel) gun finally failed. This gun works slightly slower than the old steel gun, but it is more accurate and does seat the staple clean into the underfloor and supports the pex as it should.

A REAL LABOR SAVER
GREAT PRODUCT. LIGHT WEIGHT, SMALL FOOTPRINT. PAID FOR ITSELF IN THE FIRST JOB BY REDUCING LABOR AND THE STAPLES ARE LESS EXPENSIVE THAN STANDARD PEX CLIPS.

About 12inches, it will fit 16 OC joists. Make sure you keep the pressure on the gun, it does not shoot in like a nail gun, it hammers repeatedly so you'll need to hold it firmly.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffPEX with a 5/8" OD is considered 1/2" PEX, so you would need to use the P4BK stand-off clips.

Q: How wide is this gun? will it fit between 1 1/4" spacing with 3/4 plywood being used.
