Yep, that's what it's made for.
Susan, Yes, that WELL will work just fine with the L6006-1145 aquastat. I do not have the part numbers handy but there are at least four Honeywell WELLS that will work with the various immersion well type aquastats. There is a long and a short version (from threads to mounting groove) and ¾” and ½” pipe threads. Other variations also exist but they are more specialized. Hope that helps. Mike

Q: Can I use this well to make L6006C1018 a well aquastat versus only a strap on?

Yes and no. The aquastat will work as designed, but you would need to acquire/manufacture the clamp plate to attach it to the well.
I am thinking you have a strap on type of temp probe you want to put into a well. Not sure, but the gains and cost to do as you are wanting to would not necessaraly be worth the cost/time. A well installed strap on probe is a hard to beat method with me! Hope I was of help.
Q: Does this fit the Honeywell L4008A1015 SPST and does it come with the clamp to fasten the bulb in the well?
