AC capacitor
This capacitor, along with a great deal of dialog with ChatGPT, allowed me to get my very elderly Rheems air conditioner up and running...in fact, it just kicked on as I was typing this...and avoided my having to pay someone to come out and fix it for me.
If you do decide to try diagnosing snd fixing your AC yourself, though, be sure you really know what you are doing. There's high voltage involved, the old capacitor must be safely discharged, all the connections have to be correct, and you must have the right parts. It took me about three days of reading and running things past the AI before I felt confident that the problem had been correctly diagnosed and I knew how to procede. Don't kill yourself by being unprepared.

Right thing at the right time
My AC stopped working at the inappropriate time (during extreme heat) and I found an on-line offer of the capacitor that I need to repair my AC. I got the right capacitor very fast and fixed my AC just in 30 minutes.
