First time using Supply House
My water heater uses two sizes of heating element. I ordered both from the manufacturers website and one of them arrived broken. I returned it and the manufacturer could not replace it.
I found Supply House online and took a chance, very happy with the results. The element (OEM) was in stock and arrived quickly. I will use them again in the future.

Rheem marathon upper heating element
A pretty straightforward replacement, the only difference I was told is with the fiberglass tank you have to let it cool down before you work on. If you don't it may cause the tank to crack. The only difficult part once you find a 1 7/8 inch socket is getting the original element loose, mind was in there pretty tight I was using a half-inch breaker bar. It did finally come loose and after I cleaned this threads and installed the new element to much less torque than the original.
The water heater has been working perfectly for last three weeks.
