SharkBite Max ball valves' innovative push-to-connect design makes for quick and easy installation when needing to install a new or replacement ball valve. Compatible with PEX, copper, CPVC and PE-RT pipe in any combination without a need for soldering, clamps, glue or unions. The valve can be installed where water shut off is needed and rotated after install for easier installation in tight spaces.

Great product from a great company.
I forgot to put a valve on each side of my taco system pump, and the sharkbyte valve made it easy to retrofit.

Quality control
One end of the valve came without the inner rubber seal! Didn't realize this until after the water was turned back on. What a mess! For the price you'd think there would be better inspection of each piece before it's shipped from the factory.
Check each piece before installing..lesson learned.
