SBTL35 Insert is required when making a connection to PEX. The 3/4" insert is included with this Sharkbite fitting, but can be removed if a 3/4" PEX connection is not being made.
Underground burial of SharkBite brass fittings requires that the fitting be wrapped using silicone wrap (25406A).
SharkBite’s Large Diameter Reducing Tees allow for pipe-size reduction in a variety of sizes. These fittings are easily rotated after installation to make connecting even easier in tight spaces. There is no need for soldering, clamps, unions or glue. These fittings are certified as connections for Copper, PEX, CPVC, PE-RT or SRD9 HDPE pipe.

Shark Bite plumbing adapters are quality products and Supply House delivers. 9 days into adding a spigot to our waterline I was out of options as I could not find a compression fitting with metal teeth. ( months earlier they were everywhere, then none. I dug up Shark Bite's web address and ordered it from Supply House. It was easy, and without issues. A flawless sale and delivery. Day 11 came and Shark Bite and Supply House had me back in water.
