Have to. Only thing that half fits the base board.
The base board these fit is aluminum and will not rust.
The end caps are steel and will rust.
He height is adjustable by snapping off a scored piece at the bottom. the score is not deep enough and the cap bends cracking the paint off. Caps are exact same size as the middle section. Things the same size to not fit well over each other. A nice product that could be better.
