1" PVC Schedule 40 Coupling, No Stop (Socket)

My local stores don't carry these no hub repair couplings. I've ordered these a few times from supplyhouse.com and they've arrived quickly and worked great.

I needed to fix a broken 1 inch pvc irrigation pipe in my sprinkler system. Instead of using the fancy telescoping slip coupler, I just made a repair pipe to slip in. I used a good quality Oatey 711 medium setting heavy body cement so I would have some working time. Primed everything at once and then cemented everything at once and had just enough time to slip on the no stop couplers and give them their quarter turn. I let it set until the next day. A little tip… do some figuring and use hose clamps for temporary stops on each side of the existing pipe so that you can get the coupler centered where the pipes come together. That way, you don't have to try to guess if it's centered or worry about primer covering up your marks. No leaks the next day at 30-40 psi
