Bottom of coupling could be better designed
The bottom of the coupling could be better designed to have a flush transition like the larger size eccentric couplings we have bought from supply house.com

Q: Is the 6"x2" PVC Sch. 40 Eccendric Reducer Just a 6"x4" reducer inserted into a 6"x2"? If so, would I effectively be able to do the same thing with a 5"x4" into a 4"x2"?

Q: What are the dimensions of this product? I saw the length in another comment (total length of the part is 8-5/8"). How far can each of the pipes sit within this reducer?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffThe overall length of the 4" x 2" PVC Schedule 40 Eccentric Reducer is 7-15/32". The sockets that the pipes will sit in is a bit more than an 1-1/2" in depth.
