1" PVC Sch. 40 Socket Union w/ Buna-N O-ring

I had a problematic filter that would crack over time, poor design and sun exposure, so put a union on either side of it, but flipped them, so one end had the collar of the union captured on the existing pipe, and the other one didn't. This way when it cam time to replace the filter, I would buy one new union, and could build the plumbing in the middle, and then slip it in and connect it to the existing unions, easy as pie, but you need the same brand as all of them seem to be made slightly differently.

The unions arrived on time. They are an older model that needed to fit perfectly with 30 year old Spears union parts already on the system. Everything worked well. No leaks!

This union was a direct replacement for the union i cracked when I tightened to tight. To be fair the old one was weathered and getting brittle. Also, this old style union was not available at any local store. Supply House is awesome!

The unions supplied worked perfectly.

I needed this specific brand & size to replace the bottom half of an existing fitting on a water filter. No big box store or plumbing supply had it...but SupplyHouse did and at a very reasonable price shipped! I'm coming back!
