This is great for repairs when you have no room left for a fitting

I'm Construction Supervisor for a Habitat for Humajity affiliate and I had a volunteer accidentally break off the stub under the concrete for the shower drain we were about to hook up. This fitting saved us from breaking up the floor to replace the fitting. Only minor gripe is the fitting was tight going into the ID of the broken pipe but loose going into the ID of the new street fitting…. Not the end of the world, it still glued up fine.

I had a PVC pipe coming THROUGH a retaining wall with a valve close to wall. The valve broke and needed to be replaced. This allowed the valve to be cut out and extend the pipe and avoid digging out the hillside to replace everything upstream.

This is a great product if you are in a tight spot. I didn't know it existed until I went on supply house web site. They have anything you need and give refunds when you order too much. Good folks.
