The sensor is an add on. I think the thermostat I bought came with the sensor.
The sensor is not included with the spools if memory serves me.I think it is included with the thermostat or available to order seperately. I found the spools to work so much easier and better than the mats. You have complete control without the mats.
No, the floor sensor is not included with the spool. It is included with the thermostat.
The spools are just the heating wire, nothing else.
I believe you have to order it separately. By the way order a second one and install it as a backup in case the first one quits.
Q: Does this cable come with the strap and double sided tape to secure it down with?

No. The cable is just the wire on a spool. You must also purchase the prefered attachment accessories.
No, you probably have to buy the strap and tape separately. I hot glued mine down and it worked great.
No strap, no tape. These I bought separately.
