Excellent little valve
This spring activated flow check works perfectly and eliminates the added expense and time consuming installation of a separate flow check valve.
I use these or the IFC version of the TACO circulator when installing indirect water heaters.
Be advised that older models of the TACO circulators will not accept this valve due to the housing not being machined for it. It'll drop through. Newer series TACO pumps are machined for it to fit properly. A good indicator is that the earlier pumps were the lighter green color than the new models which are darker green.

I chatted with your rep and they said this would fit a taco 007-f5 and it didnt. Now i lost money. Shouldnt be giving the wrong advice.

Just what I needed
This check valve for right in the newer taco 007 circulator pump without the built in IFC. It just pushes in the discharge side of the pump and works great!

Much cheaper that buying a pump and arrived ahead of schedul
Replaced a stuck valve in the original pump installed in 2009. Took all of 15 minutes and now the system works like it did on day one.

Part I needed
My local plumbing supply doesn't carry this IFC replacement part even though the sell the pump. To be honest these parts are pricey for asmall spring and piece of plastic but SupplyHouse.com did have the part at the best price so I am greatfull. My Indirect HWH was getting too hot due to unwanted circulation due to faulty flo check- works great and Hot water back to safe normal temps.

Small issue with this one
I bough this for a 007-F5-7IFC. The valve was fine but the gasket was too large. No way I could get it to stay in the recess without popping out somewhere. Luckily the old gasket was in good enough condition to get by with.

Q: Will this valve fit into a non IFC housing? Say a 007-F5? The housing look identical from the photos. I have two zones that are ghost flowing and the current 007s are perfect, but not IFCs so I was hoping to convert them without replacing the pump?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffYes, this can be inserted in a 007 that did not originally come with an IFC. Please note that older 007's may not be compatible, but any more recent unit should be able compatible.
