Big flow and easy to adjust!
I used this as a mixing valve on my indirect hot water tank. I keep the tank above 140* to kill off any bacteria, but dont want the danger of water that hot at the faucet. With this valve I mix it down to around 125*, hot enough for a dishwasher, but not hot enough to instantly scald someone by accident. I chose this model due to its higher flow rating than most other mixing valves. If filling a tub while doing laundry or washing dishes is a possibility in your house you dont want a mixing valve restricting the flow. This high flow model will flow enough proper temperature water to supply several faucets or appliances at the same time without restricting total flow. The unions make the install or replacent easy. Quick and easy to adjust, and the instructions are spot on.
