No they are stainless steel Sent from Karon's IPhone
I live over a mile from Puget Sound and haven't noticed any rust on mine after about 5 years.
I believe they are plated and should not rust. David Sent from my iPhone
The ones I received measure .748 inches OD. So, theoretically they would fit through and square up to a 3/4 of an inch hole if the alignment was perfect, but I expect a 13/16 or 7/8 inch hole would be more practical.
The outside diameter is 3/4". It might be pretty snug in a 3/4" hole but it should fit.
I have used these and it is a 1/2" hole 1/2" drill bit.
That support accepts a 5/8 tube. outside diameter of the support is about three quarters. I drill a one inch hole when using that support Sent from my U.S. Cellular® smartphone
Yes. Lloyd
The clamping ring sits on top of the support, the valve sits above this. Cut the tubing so you have some play. This can be pushed back into the wall or floor afterwards.
Each side of the square measures 3" and the support covers about 3-1/2" inches of the tube.
I use these for support when going up through the floor. Rather than through the wall.
