ProPEX Stainless Steel Male Threaded Adapters transition Uponor AquaPEX tubing to reverse osmosis units. Due to the aggressive nature of conditioned water produced by reverse osmosis, de-ionization and distillation, ProPEX Stainless Steel Fittings are manufactured from 316 stainless steel, and fully comply with CSA B137.5.

Good Quality and delivery
I used this to stub out from the wall and connected a brasscraft OR17X supply valve to it. I had previously used a pex supply valve, but it started leaking and could not be repaired in place. So I had to cut it off, but luckily I had enough sticking out from the wall that I was able to get a sleeve on it and expand it for this fitting to go into. Then I hooked the threaded supply valve to it. Worked perfect.

Stainless steel is better than yellow brass with hard or distilled water, to prevent corrosion and leaks. I was looking for stainless adapters for Uponor (Wirsbro) PEX tubing, and the PexSupply team was very helpful. They quickly added the 1/2" and 3/4" stainless adapters to their product line. Great service, quick delivery and a good price!
