Excellent Product
We have a 1" water supply line coming into our home, after installing the whole home filter our line cut down to 3/4" entering the manifold, this supplied the domestic cold and also 3/4" supply to the hot water heater. Increasing the supply to 1" increased the flow to the manifold and water heater resolved the issue with the flow with when multiple faucets are open at the same time.

Would appreciate a hex fitting
The design of the 1" threaded adapter leaves very little room to tighten this adapter to a female fitting. It required a large pipe wrench to gain enough purchase on a small section of the fitting not much wider than 1/4". I was not able to tighten the fitting without marring it. It works just fine but I wish there was at least a 1/2" section of hex fitting to use an adjustable wrench for a cleaner look. In hindsight I would have chosen a different adapter style to mate to my 1" copper main line.

The design of the 1" threaded adapter leaves very little room to tighten this adapter to a female fitting. Worked fine, I almost stripped the plastic threads on the manifold when putting this on. just backed it off and set it right before screwing on. Recommend taking the time to make sure it sits right and screws on smoothly, no hard turning should be necessary

Q: What is meant by "zero lead?" I have a leak at the hot water supply line coming into the manifold and a friend a few months back tried to remove the connection to replace the washer (we presumed that was what was causing the problem) but once the nut was unscrewed there was no clearance between the manifold pipe and the supply line (is this is was is meant by zero lead?) so we couldn't get at the washer. Instead he applied some teflon sealant and that has held up until now. I would like to change the washer and stop the leak.
