PEX Crimp MANABLOCs provide a home-run distribution manifold for the plumbing system. These MANABLOCs utilize either 3/8" or 1/2" distribution lines. Each MANABLOC comes factory pre-assembled with color coded hot and cold ports.
**Requires Crimping Tool.
**Important**
- Supply adaptersSupply adapters must be purchased separately and are required to install this product.
- Mounting straps are optional and are sold separately.
- The 10-year warranty only applies if this MANABLOC is installed with all Viega products.
- 53601: MANABLOC Supply End Cap does not come included and must be purchased separately.
PEX Crimp MANABLOCs provide a home-run distribution manifold for the plumbing system. These MANABLOCs utilize either 3/8" or 1/2" distribution lines. Each MANABLOC comes factory pre-assembled with color coded hot and cold ports.
**Requires Crimping Tool.
**Important**
- The MANABLOC plumbing system carries a maximum pressure/temperature rating of 100 psi @ 180°F. Excessive pressure to the MANABLOC will cause leaks.
- Do not allow chemicals such as PVC glues or solder flux to come into contact with the MANABLOC. They will compromise the integrity of the MANABLOC and cause leaks.
- Please consult the MANABLOC install instructions for a more comprehensive list of chemical materials that will cause harm to the MANABLOC plumbing system.

Manabloc system
I have always liked the manabloc system. Its easy to use, setup/install and easy to plumb a new or old home. It gives you the convenience to shut one line off and work on just that line while leaving the rest of the house with functioning water supply. Plus it gives each faucet, shower, and toilet its own water supply.

Product worked out great as a replacement manabloc for the old grey lever system. New crimp connections are easy to install and provide an alternate method compared to the old compression type.

Ease of installation
I have not yet run water to the manifold yet but I hope to very soon. My greatest regret is not calling to order the product (I ordered it online) because it is packed with four individual packages of PEX fittings (six per package) for a total 24 fittings, but those fittings were three packages of 3/8 inch and one of 1/2 inch (which makes 18 of the 3/8 inch and only six of the 1/2 inch). I had planned to plumb with all 1/2 inch and since this manifold had 18 connections I would using all of them but now only had six of the 1/2 inch fittings. I honestly do not recall reading the description of items "included in the box" (if there was one) to help me clear this up, but it still would have made more sense to include in the box, half of each size, then I would only need to purchase an additional six fittings.

Would have preferred Brass fittings
Am really looking forward to my first PEXCrimp project. I would have preferred if this manifold had come with the brass PEX crimp instead of the PollyAlloy ones or with no fittings at all. The Polly fittings introduce a SIGNIFICANT flow restriction on the PEX runs (from the Viega documentation that comes with the manifold).

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffThis particular manabloc is set up with both 1/2" and 3/8" ports: on the 1/2" port you must use the 1/2" tubing and on the 3/8" ports the 3/8" tubing would be necessary. Q: Does the Manabloc come with the necessary connections for the PEX to the unit? Or do i need to purchase The nuts and adapters in addition to the unit itself? ex: if i purchase an 18 port crimp system, will i need to purchase 18 nuts with crimp fittings also?
