Best I've found
By far the best design I've seen - these clips work great. Install ahead of time then simply press the pex into the clip and it locks in place. Provides desired standoff from the mounting surface. Strong and durable - holds even with the weight of a partial roll of tubing pulling against it, yet very easy to open the clip with just your fingers to remove the pex if necessary. Easy to mount though might be better (and 5 stars) if a mounting screw was included and 'captured' in the clip for easier install esp. when working overhead, in awkward positions, screwing into hard fir joists etc.

They said as a curtesy they would next day air them to me.
6 days later I received them.
My customer did not like me telling him this.

Clips
I've been using clips for over 15 years . Used them for water piping and DWV . Have not used Viega's over that period of time but between their product and Supply House's great service can't beat them .

I would not buys these every again terrible product.
Snap looks would not hold together so pipe would fall out to avoid a delay I had to drill holes in the hanger to put zip ties in to hold the snap lock together.

These clips are FANTASTIC.
They may not be as permanent as some clips, but, being able to simply just push the tube up to get it clipped and locked in. FANTASTIC.

You can bank a bunch together for a clean look. Push PEX tube into clip and it locks in place. Even an apprentice could do it.

Great product!
Using a screw (sold separately) attach clip to surface. Then place PEX line into clip, give a slight extra push & clip will snap together around pipe. Use on all directions like overhead or vertical. Very easy to work!

Awesome Clips
These work great with Viega Fostapex 3/4" (the 3/4" clips). Without them we would have been lost, 100x better than the "talons" which I resorted to when I ran out of these. I actually am buying a final box of these to go back and snug up everything. I know they're expensive, but we went through 6 boxes of 3/4" fostapex and would have been nearly impossible without these.

I would expect it will work just fine, though I don't know the thickness of the armor flex. Can't imagine it's that thick though that it wouldn't work. These will keep the pipe maybe about 1/4" from stud/wall (maybe a slight bit less). They work great! I would recommend them. I've used them to hold the pipe to the ceiling, down stud bays and also down a cement wall. Glad I picked them up.

I have not measured, maybe 1 inch by eyeball, I would not purchase again. I think its better to insulate the pex and then put a fastener over the insulation and mount. I will use electrical conduit straps over the insulation next time. William Turner

Absolutely. Clip has a firm grip on Uponor PEX pipe from personal experience with both products. Highly recommend these clips if you plan to install multiple parallel runs (clips join together), or install insulation around the pipe as the clip provides an offset from the wood framing members. Note that you can't do both at the same time though (wouldn't have room for insulation if you join clips together).
