Test your chamfer by using the “Test Gauge” on your chamfer tool. The
test gauge approximates the o-ring-embedded insert inside each ConStab
fitting. Test your chamfer by pushing the pipe over the test gauge.
If the pipe is chamferred properly, it should fit over the test gauge with
minimum effort.

The part worked like a champ
I had to put 2 couplings on a length of pex lp gas line that was hit with a shovel. The repair is expensive so I will use copper gas line instead of pex but will be able to make repairs if needed with the tools purchased from Supply House
