loosen top of plastic cap and turn to desired temoerature than tighten cap back down
You have to loosten, the small screw on the handle and pull it out. Then turne it left or right depending on the temperature u want. Tge know has a lock to it and the only way it will turne is if the screw is loose and pulled out. After that just follow the instructions on the tag. Hope this helps. Robert Orban
Loosen screw on top of knob, then lift up on knob and turn; right to decrease temp and left to increase temp.
Hi To adjust the temp of the water: Take the hex wrench that is supplied (or one from your toolbox) and loosen the screw on the top of the plastic knob. Once loosened, lift the plastic knob about 1/8 inch and it will unlock from the valve body. The direction of turning is indicated on the valve (or instructions) - one way will add more from the hot side, and the opposite turn will add more from the cold side. The valve will operate with the screw loose, so you may want to test the output temp before retightening the screw. Once the temp is OK, reset the knob down on the valve and lightly retighten the screw so it will not move. Hope that helps.
You have to loosen the screw on top of the knob a bit in order to pull the knob out to unlock it and allow it to turn to adjust the temperature Sent from my U.S. Cellular® Android-powered phone
You put a thermometer or a temperature sensing strip on the outlet pipe, and turn the plastic knob ( the one with the paper tag on it) right or left to let in more or less hot water. When the output temp matches what temp you need, you are set.
Simply loosen the screw in the center of the cap far enough to let the cap rotate(about 1/4-3/8 inch), then adjust the temperature by pulling the cap out(away from the body) and rotating the plastic cap(counter-clockwise for hotter and vice-versa).
The manufacturer recommends hot water inlet temperatures between 120°F and 180°F.
The union style nut is not offered seperately so the whole unit would have to be replaced.
