I would buy this product again
Local suppliers did not have it, they did not know it it exist. I was told to press it without it. Since I was doing two apartments, did not want to risk leaks, and I used it. Press connection looks better (more round) than without it. I have done 1/2" baseboard radiators without stiffeners , since 1/2" inserts were not available. Both no leaks so far. After cutting with regular pipe cutter, inserts do not fit into the radiator pipe. I had to use line set expander.
