I bought this piece because a professional said to.
I bought this because a professional repairman said it was the problem. As a retired pro, I checked out the furnace myself after ordering. It was the gas valve at fault. I had a spare, and it is working again. So, I did not install the sensor. I am keeping it on hand, though.

Perfect fit
It was a perfect match, the same part I removed. replaced in minutes! The Flame sensor should be replaced not cleaned, or you be purchasing a new one in months not years !
