Bought 2 of these because I wanted a spare in the future.
Pulled the first one out of the box and the center part of the igniter just fell apart.
I know they are fragile, but they shouldn't break just from looking at it.
Good thing I bought 2, I was able to use the second one and get the furnace going again.
But now I don't have a spare.

Fixed my old Rheem attic furnace
The old flat plate surface ignitor was weakening, getting to the point of not igniting most of the time. Of course, this happened during some very cold days in winter. This ignitor matched the failed one perfectly, allowing the furnace to ignite every time again.

Wonderful product
I am greatful to have found this part. I was worried id have to get a hvac person to my house for a costly repair.after looking up information online i bought this part and installed it myself and got heat back to my house.

installed in gas heater. easy to install, only had to heaterchange electrical connector. If product last as long as original did I will be thrilled.
