Note: All 41-400 series ignitors are 120 VAC models. Some hot surface modules are rated for 208/240 volts input, however they step the voltage down to 120 VAC.
Robertshaw's 41-400 Series Norton Hot Surface Ignitors deliver dependable ignition heating systems of every description. From furnaces and boilers to rooftop heaters, infrared burners, unit heaters, water heaters, and many other types of HVAC equipment.
The 41-400 Series Hot Surface Ignitors are made of high purity recrystalized silicon carbide which combines physical and thermal strength with stable electrical properties. The 41-400 Series are designed to reach ignition temperatures within 17 seconds. These Hot Surface Ignitors have 18-gauge nickel chrome lead wires embedded and metalized in place for maximum holding strength and electrical conductivity. The lead wires are also enclosed with a special high-temperature fiberglass insulation providing total electrical protection.

It failed after 24 hours of operation!
I replaced with a Honeywell "Glow Fly" ignitor which is the newest technology now being used. If you need to replace your hot surface ignitor replace with this new Glow Fly technology ignitor. This will be the last time you will need to replace.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffHi Robert. The ignitor for your furnace would be Heat Controller part number R68GF0005, however, unfortunately we do not carry that brand. The ignitor also goes under Norton part number 201N, which was directly replaced by Honeywell part number Q4100C9046 - https://www.supplyhouse.com/Resideo-Q4100C9046-Silicon-Carbide-Hot-Surface-Igniter-w-19-1-8-Leads

Q: Can I use this to replace my Norton 201W? Also, I have a wire adapter on the end of my ignitor. Is it easy to connect the adapter from my old part to my new part?
