used to be better before they changed them

These boards used to be solid rather than plywood. They also used to have half the loops cut into them, as you only actually use half. I guess they did this to make them more universal but it also makes them weaker. If you had half a brain you had no problem with the way they were before with hardly any waste, why change? They are also more warped than they used to be.

It's a puzzle

Seem to lay good. You just have to run like a maze, making sure all the groves come together. The great thing is you can put over existing floors. The price we thought was fine, when you look at the outcome of warm floors n hot water heat it will be worth every penny. We are doing a whole house, 1200 feet . I did mark all the underlayment board when put down so not to staple tubing. Can't wait to enjoy the finish product.

Quik Trak

Used the Quik Trak system for a sunroom renovation, about 300 sf of space. Simple easy installation. Works well!

Quick Track

I will totally agree with getting your own 7/16 for the straight runs...did a master bath in no time and now doing 900 sq feet more...radiant is probably the wave of the future because of 2 reasons 1) better heat 2) ease of installation.

highly recamend

Im not a plumber and i have never used anything like this before and as a do it your self home owner I put down all my own quik trak and pex in three different rooms in about 4 hrs and saved about $1000 in labor for my project. If I could do it all again i would have only purchased the return traks and made my own straight tracks out of some aluminum flashing andsome 7/16 plywood ripped to size. I would have saved pron another $750 that way. hope this helps.
