The freezeless Woodford Model 14 is designed and intended for year-round residential irrigation purposes regardless of outside temperature. This faucet will not rupture from freezing when the valve is shut off and the hose is removed.

Very Good Valve
I've installed a few of these valves. What I like about them is not only that they're Woodford valves, this particular model doesn't have those annoying vacuum breakers that malfunction. It's crucial these valves are installed correctly with the pitch towards the valve spout and not to leave the garden hose attached during the Winter. When these guidelines are followed, you won't have a problem with this valve for a long time. You can purchase rebuild kits too. Highly recommend!
