Only place I found them

Changed home plumbing loop to PEX, from PVC. Made a loop for filters and water softener. Needed several 1" PEX ball valves. These are easy to turn on/off, simple to crimp because of their size, and easy to identify which way to turn based on arrows on product. I was tired of getting ball valves of other materials that ended up throwing away. With PEX I can cut the crimp and reuse. 1" crimp rings are more expensive, but they're so easy to use, it doesn't matter. The 1" PEX tubing I purchased locally, but it slides on the ball valves easy. Going with the 1" size also makes for the best main plumbing line, especially since it used to be 1/2". If it's your main line, go with this larger 1" part for your mains, and use the smaller ones farther over to your fixtures. You'll be happy you did, believe me.

Leaks after 2 years

Supply house has been a great company to order from but these ball valves are just not very good. I bought them back in 2017 and have used them for two heating seasons on my boiler. Now when i go to turn them off they start leaking out of the stem that turns the ball inside. I don't see anyway of tightening it. It looks like they are meant for heating applications. I thought maybe they got to hot. Is 180 degrees to hot? The temp may have gotten to a max of 230 degrees on accident when my boiler failed to shut down one time. Anyway i have to replace them. I'm thinking I want to find a different brand. One more thought I only opened and closed the ball valve a few times. At the end of season and at the beginning.

Easy to install and operate

Replacing CPVC ball valves with these on pex-b and everything installed very well. Utilizing red and blue handles helped to keep hot and cold lines on white tubing "labeled."

Failed on first use

Installed in 2019. Needed to close the valve for the first time when water heater failed, and it would not stop the flow of water. "You had one job!"

We don't currently carry one, but you can consider installing a standard threaded or sweat ball valve that has a bleeder with PEX fittings on each end.

just put in a tee and two valves

I do not know of any. you could add a Air elimination device (spirotherm or other) or an air scoop. these would be installed in line. If you have the access (ie, baseboard and not true radiant in slab) you coild use a baseboard 90 and a coin vent. you could also use a tee that would reduce down to allow installation of coin vent. all of the above would not have a pex connection built in, but could be adapted for such use and would require soldering of fitting of pex crimp connections to the part to be installed.

Q: Does the 1" pex ball valve and all the other 1" fittings fit 1" pex al pex? I've been to two different pluming supply stores and ask for fittings for the I" and was given fittings that were too small both places. I am trying to install an outdoor wood burning boiler to the house for radiant floor heat, my hot water heater, and my pool, do you have drawings, or can suggest where I might obtain literiture, that would help me understand how and what I will need to do this?

PEX fittings (like the ones on this ball valve) do not fit PEX-AL PEX tubing. PEX-AL-PEX has an embedded layer of aluminum, so its dimensions are different from those of regular PEX. PEX-AL-PEX works only with certain compression and press fittings. In your case, you could use a PAP-1000M fitting with a 1" threaded ball valve.

They are not full-port: the valve is, but not the crimp fitting.
