Nice pump! My Bullet pump died. This was my replacement. Much lighter. Used it about 5 times. Does a very good job. And not as noisy as my old pump. It's a go for me!

The pump does what it should and is pretty quiet. I trust the Yellow Jacket brand for any hvac tools.

I like this vacuum, pulls very deep vacuum to 500 microns easy and fast, it is very quiet. It has two sized ports on a tee. There is another port which is capped off by a plastic cap, supposedly for a larger hose size. I can't find a port valve for that, or cap that would be brass and have a thicker o-ring. Not that it is leaking, but somehow I don't trust plastic caps. The caps on the ports are also plastic. This is not a cheap pump, YJ could sacrificed a couple of $ to put brass caps. Other than those small details, this is a sturdy and functional vacuum. Not lightweight too but that is true for 90% of the vacuum pumps. Somewhere I read that the winding on the motor are copper, I didn't see that and I hope they are and not aluminum like some of the cheaper alternatives out there. The back cover is thin and very easy to damage from bumping in a service truck, the cooling fan is plastic, looks like PEX, but still well balanced. It was somewhat disappointing that no one put threadlocker on the small bolts keeping the back cover on. There are plenty of vibrations on this and they are easy to come off. I am sure JY can do better. Especially on the pricing.
