The right pump when i needed it.
I installed this on my wood boiler that the old pump was going out on. Easy install as it was very similiar to the old pump. Directions were good explaining how the pump should be mounted. As all ways Supplyhouse had it instock at a decent price and fast free shipping! I think it showed up in less than 2 days!

Astro-230-CI Pump
Right pump for the right price, excellent service. However, these newer pumps have an electrical connector box larger than the older original pumps in the system and due to tight piping lines might make replacing difficult (I have that problem).

Q: I would like to use this pump to circulate pool saltwater through a solar heater. I am wondering if the pump, being cast iron, will hold up to the saltwater going through it and not corrode? If this is not a good model pump for this application, would you recommend a model that I could use that wouldn't break the bank. Thanks, Mark
