B & G type Low Pressure BPX brazed plate heat exchangers offer the highest level of thermal efficiency and durability in a compact, low cost unit. These are ideal for applications that require 150 PSIG or less. The corrugated plate design provides very high heat transfer coefficients, resulting in a more compact design. The unit's stainless steel plates are vacuum brazed together to form a durable, integral piece.

Excellent heat transfer
I have a in floor radiant heat system. It operated from an A//O Smith propane fired Vertex all house water heater,it does both domestic water and radiant heat all in one. I installed an outdoor wood stove that now heats my water. All of it, by using the heat exchanger I am not turning on the propane ever. I initially tried a side arm heat exchanger that just couldn't do the job.

Q: Can this be used with potable hot water from a water heater such as the A.O. smith? I see that it has a heating application, but I assume potable water will be circulating through it from the water heater.
