Mill-Rose Blue Monster® Nickel Guard® Anti-Seize Thread Sealing Tape is a new and unique thread sealing tape which prevents stainless steel fittings from galling or seizing during assembly and disassembly. The tape is impregnated with nickel powder which acts like bearing plates, keeping the surface of the male and female threads apart. Further protection is provided with the thicker and denser than average composition of Mill-Rose Blue Monster® Nickel Guard® Anti-Seize Thread Sealing Tape. This added thickness and density also ensure an effective seal.

- Composition: 90% PTFE/10% nickel
- Color: Silver
- Thickness: 0.0045" +/-10% (0.115mm +/-10%)
- Density, Apparent: 1.6g/cm3 +/-10%
- Elongation: 50%
- Temperature range: -450°F to +500°F (-268°C to +260°C) PTFE is completely stable up to +500°F or +260°C. Decomposition will occur on contact with naked flames. Upon decomposiiton, the remaining nickel powder will assist disassembly. Nickel flake will melt at 2,651°F or 1,455°C.

This Teflon tape is perfect for Stainless steel piping
We use quite a bit of stainless piping here at our terminal. This tape saves us a lot of problems with galled threads.
