It fits!
I had to replace my 20 gal water heater and since there wasn't a pan under the old one I decided to upgrade. This pan fits but has a drain hole in the side which is unnecessary and would be awkward to use if you need to drain the pan for any reason. It's sturdy plastic construction means you don't have to worry about rust issues.
