disappointed
GC installed on my own home to test it out. Only able to get 122 cfm with no ducts installed... exhaust symbol blinks constantly. 116 cfm max with ducts installed. First time warranty tech said to replace the exhaust fan. I did that with no change. this time the Tech said this was normal for this unit after 45mins on video chat. triple checked to make sure there wasn't any packing materials or anything in the unit. I really with I could go back in time and spend more and get the Panasonic.

Need to buy the remote for it to work
Excellent system but without the "optional" $150 remote you are unable to use most of the key features like the automatic "smart" mode.

Replacement for another brand ERV
We have now had this unit installed for a couple of months so I feel I can give a good review of the unit. I am a hands on engineer and did the installation myself. Installation was straight forward. Installation was good (which is unusual these days). I had a high efficiency premium unit before that this Broan replaced. It seems to work at least as well, is quieter and the interface (with the optional touchscreen display) is much better.
