Optional MERV 13 Filter for AI Series

I live in Colorado, where it is a bit dusty at times. The filter does a great job, and even seems to filters out smoke occasionally. But I have to go through 3 filters/year (and I don't use my ERV in the summer very much), so a little bit expensive.

I use this in my Broan ERV. It seems high quality and fits the unit well. Seems to do a good job of filtering the air. My only complaint is that it has a very small surface area, so clogs relatively quickly. I live in Colorado, and I use two of these every winter (generally don't run the A/C or ERV much in the summer. This is a MUCH shorter life than claimed by Broan. So, Broan needs to either make the filter have a larger surface area for greater life, or significantly lower the price. (But, FYI, I do love my Broan ERV - works great, so would not buy another brand).

MERV 13 is a good filter

I bought this filter based on the advice of a friend. The delivery was quick and the filter worked as expected. I will definitely reorder this filter although it is a little expensive

I have these on my Braun ERV, and they work fine. I live in Colorado where the air is dusty and occasionally smoky, and they seem to filter out almost anything. Have not smelled smoke with them in place, but that may or may not be due to the filters. They only last about 3 - 4 months in this climate. They seem pricey when you compare them in size etc. to furnace filters. Otherwise they would get 5 stars.

I originally used the stock filter and noticed the PM2.5 levels in my house were low after installing my ERV, but using this filter they dropped to near zero especially under a slight amount of positive pressure. Well worth the cost to get the highest quality air you can get.

Filter is required for the house air handler system. I was unfamiliar with the system and requirements, but the tech, it may have been Joe, walked me through the process. Even though it was a Saturday, he answered all my questions and didn't make me feel rushed.
