Supply House delivers again.
The BMPLUS 3000 control panel went out in our two zone HVAC system. Rather than deal with the a/c contractor (and his $550.00 charge) I took a ckance on getting the part from Supply House and doing the work myself. Easy. Move the color coded wires from one panel to the other, mount the new panel where the old one once was and, like magic, the system works once again. Saved almost $400 on this job, $275.00 on a damper motor replacement last year. Supply House, you are the best. Authentic parts at a great price. Thanks.

Design flaw
This works really well when it's not in an error state. It will likely do this in the frigid winter when you would appreciate it if your heat continued to work. Despite what their marketing says, these have a poor power management/logic system, so if your house get's black outs or brown outs, the voltage drops, the system will think all zones (no matter how many you actually have), are being called. It has to be reset via pulling the thermostats off the walls and putting them back on. I was not having luck with the onboard the reset button. I spent a lot of money on contractors coming out to "fix" it. HVAC Contractors do not know how to fix this.

Replaced a different manufacturer's control panel with BMPLUS 3000. Easy to follow instructions. I had one question about hooking up the 24 VAC supply voltage, which tech support promptly responded to my email. Hooked up a little over two weeks ago, and so far so good. Works well with existing Duro damper motors.

Working great, replaced original.
Easy to install and worked perfectly.
This unit replaced an earlier version that I was told had gone bad.
Not sure if that was true, but this replacement had a couple upgrades that I am happy about.

Q: what is the difference between the BMPlus 3000 and the BMPlus 3000 Rev B ? Also is there any reason to have a OAS if you do not have aux heat?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffAccording to the manufacturer, there are several differences between the BMPlus3000 and the BMPlus3000 Rev B. The original version dropped the reversing valve after a call for heat, causing a noise from the sudden rush of refrigerant. The original version had separate timer and CPU resets, while the Rev B combines them. Also, the original version is only compatible with Heat Cool Conventional thermostats not Heat Pump thermostats. Unless you have dual fuel, there is no real need for the use of the outdoor air sensor.
