New to POLY ALLOY PEX fittings But have had no problems
I have purchased a lot of poly PEX fittings from supply house recently and rather than review each fitting individually I am doing just this one. I experienced a corrosion failure of a brass PEX fitting resulting in a flood after only 10 years .After doing a lot of research, turns out I have very acidic well water and had to install a PH balancer tank.After a lot of worrying about the condition of all the other brass fittings in my house , I chose to start the massive job to repipe it all. I was fortunate to come across SupplyHouse.com and began ordering POLY ALLOY fittings to replace the brass to eliminate the corrision. They are a direct replacement , fit is good and take the same copper PEX ring.Supply House has been great with ordering and availability and fast shipping. Only time will tell as to the durability and strength of the Poly , but I felt it was my only choice for the problem I had, for me to stay with the PEX which I consider to be a good pipe.
