The fans feature a plastic housing constructed of UL-recognized, UV protected thermoplastic resin. This tough protected shell allows the fan to be mounted in outdoor and wet locations. FR fans feature external rotor motors that have proven dependable year after year. Fan is fully caulked to prevent moisture from entering the housing.

Good fan
This motor is used to vent my basement crawl space. This is a replacement motor to a previous motor which had expired. It is quieter than the previous one. It was slighly longer, which resulted in difficult installation.

Very good experience
Replaced existing exhaust fan unit with this new one. A couple of issues with design of new unit which made install a bit more challenging. All in all I was pleased with new unit and it's running fine.
