Not what I needed
It's for a 5" pipe to 4" but the measurements are 6" and 5". Too big for my 5" cast iron because the diameter is 6" across not 5.

Hi Michael. Unfortunately, I believe you are measuring this coupling and your pipe incorrectly. This coupling is used to connect a 5" inside diameter pipe with a 4" inside diameter pipe. That being said, the size of the coupling would have to be larger to fit around the outside diameter of the pipe you are using and this is why you are getting the 6" and 5" measurements you are taking. I'd advise that you remeasure your pipe by the inside diameter and you'll probably need to purchase a coupling that is just one size down!
