The HS33 will operate at temperatures below 32°F for a certain amount of time. If you took the meter from room temperature into a freezer, it would take a while for its internal components to reach below 32°F. Any insulation you can provide the meter in really cold environments will enable the HS33 to work at those cold temperatures for even longer.
