A typical Grundfos, out of the box and right to work!!
If you have a hot water boiler in your home there is a 100 percent chance that you have a small Grundfos hot water circulation pump in your system system that just runs.
The same can be said for the Grundfos KP150 Sump Pump. Over the past 20 years I have used virtually every domestic sump pump, sometimes multiple times. With the very high water conditions on the Great Lakes, Lake Erie in particular, our sump fills up every 30 seconds or so and the pump cycles to keep up. The KP150 Sump Pump just goes about its business and is keeping up without effort. It's stainless construction is solid and the installation doesn't require anything special.

Q: I want this pump for an AC unit. Is it continuous duty? Is it cooled by the water it pumps? It needs to run all day in 3" of water. Also how many amps does the pump draw? Thank You Jon

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffYes, this pump is rated for continuous duty. It is cooled by fluid passing through the unit and will operate in 3" of water. It has a rated current of 2.9 Amps and starting current of 8.7 Amps.
