It does not, but Honeywell-Aube part TH115-AF-GA is a similar thermostat that does have ground-fault protection.
I don't think this will work for a 2 wire installation, which was also my problem and I couldn't figure out. I went with the Aube TH106, which works great, but is also nearly twice as big with no backlight. No complaints on operation though.
All line-voltage digital thermostats (programmable or otherwise) require four wires (two from the main, two going to the heater(s)). This is because these type of thermostats, unlike mechanical thermostats, require a constant power supply (the pair from the mains). You cannot install such a thermostat into a junction box with only two wires available because such a circuit only has power when the heater is running. The TH115-A-240S-B is rated for up to 4000 W (16.7 V), which seems to be the highest rating of any comparable device.
