The Damper is a damper...Nothing out of the ordinary from what I expected but does the job. However SupplyHouse is an amazing company. So happy with their easy website, good prices, and fantastic return policy (when I previously made a mistake on damper size). Thank you, keep it up.

I like the indicator light and dial. Easy to install

I ordered two zone dampers. Both arrived with minimal packaging and NO insulation to prevent damage. None. The ZD20x10 damper had two sharp aluminum corners protruding out of the box dangerously, with a serious potential for lacerations if handled carelessly. The box appeared to have been bent, with the cardboard shroud around the servo motor bending the axle by 10-20 degrees. No amount of FRAGILE stickers could prevent this damage, and there is a 50% probability that this item was sent in a damaged condition. There was no pre shipment quality inspection. The box used to ship the damper was the SAME box used to import the device, just repurposed. A larger box with shipping peanuts would have prevented a lengthy delay, but that would have cost Supply House an extra dollar or two. That is assuming the item was not shipped damaged, of course. On the plus side, the phone contacts to remedy this problem were professional, kind and courteous. They made the sting of poor shipping policies and procedures bearable. Many thanks to those who helped fix an avoidable situation. The bottom line: There are some very basic quality assurance procedures lacking, that need to be addressed. Fix this.

I needed to replace a 25 year old damper whose motor had failed. This seems to be doing a great job and has some added features (like showing the current damper position). One thing to be aware of is the cutout size is larger so i had to increase the existing cutout size before it could be installed.

Excellent functional adds with the indicator, light and adjustable closed-stops. They also appear far more durable than the older HW dampers. The installation was easy, though I did have to enlarge the duct openings.
