Love It!
When I bought my home in December of 1999, it had a Honeywell programmable thermostat. I have no idea when it was installed but the house was 14 years old when I bought it. In October of 2009, I had a hip replaced and came home to recuperate. The weather is always "iffy" in Michigan in the fall so when I realized my old thermostat was no longer programmable - it was stuck on the summer settings - I went looking, on line, for a replacement. (No driving around since my hip was still healing.) I researched this Honeywell replacement, found it cheapest on PexSupply so I ordered it[...] and had a friend volunteer to install it for me. The install took about 10 minutes and it has been running wonderfully ever since. It is lighted (the old one wasn't) and the only thing that had to be done after installation and programming was a bit of painting since the new one is more compact and slimmer than the 20 year old one. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. It does everything I need it to do and does it very reliably.

not happy
Only had this thermostat in our BRAND NEW home for maybe month and had issues with our AC. After many ac repair man visits we found out the problem was just the thermostat itself. It had a short and was not allowing the fan to stay on the auto setting to circulate air and was causing the A/C coils to freeze up.

Exactly as I ordered.
It was a exact replacement thermostat so I wouldn't have to drill and wire a different one. Just had to plug it in. It replace the original that was 13 years old.

Great product and value
This thermostat was a direct replacement for my older Honeywell thermostat which didn't have the programming feature. Very simple wiring instructions and programming steps. The complete installation was done in less than 10 minutes.

Just Perfect and No Problems
I actually had this exact same thermostat prior to ordering this one. I had an unfortunate accident while attempting to change the battery on the old one and rendered it useless. So I was lucky to find Supply House online because they had the exact same thermostat making installation a snap.

I would buy this product again.
The thermostat is easy to program and works well for what I need it for. If you are looking for a daily programmable thermostat, this was only does 2 programs: Mon-Fri., Sat-Sun. Had another one just like it and that's why I got this one.

I ordered thermostat to replace my existing one installed in 2012. The unit is exactly the same as older model, I didn't have to replace the back plate which is the reason I ordered it.
The only gripe I have it took a week (7 days) to receive it with standard shipping.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffYou can, but you would also need a control that is able to adapt to low-voltage thermostats and 4-wire actuators in order to link the thermostats to the actuators. We'd recommend a Taco zone valve control.

Q: Is there a way to change how often it cycles in an hour? I live in Arizona, and although it is very warm, I would rather the unit run continuously, then to shut on and off. It cycles about 8 times per hour. Can this be adjusted?

From what I can see, this thermostat does not have the capability to adjust the run time. It has a minimum off-time in order to protect the compressor, but even that is not adjustable.

I'm no expert , but if You place the fan switch in the on position instead of auto its not so noticeable. Or maybe your thermostat is not placed in an appropriate spot. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Q: I have a central A/C unit which was controlled by a Honeywell T87F thermostat. It was broken by workmen delivering furniture & I am looking to replace it with this programmable thermostat. It is only going to be used for the central A/C as my gas zoned heating system is separate & in fact two of the zones are already controlled by PRO TH4110D thermostats that were installed by my plumber when I had to replace the boiler & zone valves for my heating system a few years ago. Can I use the one shown here for just A/C & is it relatively easy to replace the T87F thermostat? Will there any be any issues with matching up wires from the current broken thermostat?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffYou need to change Installer Setup Function 13 from setting 1 (the default) to 0. To enter the installer setup menu, hold down the two arrow buttons until the display changes. The function number will be on the left, with the setting number to its right. Use the down arrow to change settings, the up arrow to advance to the next function, and hold both arrows to exit the menu and save your settings.

Q: I want to replace my 25-year old Honeywell T8085A programmable mechanical thermostat that controls a gas furnace with the Honeywell TH4110D. Any problem with that, or is there a better choice?

Q: I have an old radiator system. I dont want to change the cable running from the boiler to the thermostate. There are 3 lines coming from the cable. Can i install pro programmable thermostat with it.
