Watch out for applications on certain Spilit Ductless AC Sys
Product is mis-represented, for applications on CERTAIN Split Ductless a/c Units, Daikin use the Power legs L1 & L2 to carry Indoor & outdoor Inverter bi-directional data, this Surge Protector CANNOT be used for this & the Instructions N E V E R Mention this , It put my unit in Communication fault error & I couldnt figure out why until I Had already Drilled the 1/2" K.O. and had to reseal it. So I suggest you have Intermatic amend thier applications guide & make a Big Note for people who have similar equipment

simple install
install was simple, instructions are basic so watching YouTube videos helped clear things up with included electrical diagram. green light is on so I must have done it correctly, working for 2 weeks thus far and hope it lasts and does what it's designed to do.
