next time I would attempt to find higher quality
One of the louvers is stuck open which waste energy. I haven't had a chance to get out the ladder to see what's up with it. Didn't expect to have to deal with it for many years but....

Easy to install. I used this as a fresh air inlet. I removed the check flow feature, but this can be modified to maintain the check flow feature.

Good design. Thankfully made in USA!
These light-duty plastic exhaust terminal units split the air flow in opposite directions and each side of discharge has an (optional and removable) swinging flapper that acts as a backdraft damper. However, probably should have in addition, a primary BDD upstream in the discharge duct and not solely rely on these. Otherwise, these are reasonably priced for the value.
